Behaviour

Staff have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour. From the beginning of the school day, lessons are calm and purposeful.

During breaktimes and lunchtimes, pupils play happily in a range of independent and team games. Pupils are proud of their school.

As part of the #oneTKATfamily we have a shared and common purpose to work together as a community of schools to ensure that every child, whatever their background, receives a high quality education within a safe, inclusive and ambitious environment. We achieve this through the values of shared voice, shared belief and shared success.

At BPA we have developed our behaviour policy to embrace this mission and ensure all children, especially those most in need, achieve their full potential.

The Broadfield 5

At BPA we strive to achieve the very highest standards of behaviour. All staff are responsible for implementing our Behaviour Policy consistently and fairly throughout the school by setting the standards required to promote positive behaviour.

The senior leadership team will ensure all staff adhere to our Behaviour Policy and implement effective systems for keeping records of all reported incidents, reporting to governors and parents when required.

Children are responsible for conducting themselves in-line with our Behaviour Policy. This includes in lessons, when moving around the school grounds, respresenting the school in other actvities and when in the community and wearing school uniform.

At BPA we have clear behaviour expectations that all children will be expected to follow. These are known as the 'Broadfield 5'.
