Free School Meals

BPA are working with our School Meal providers Easy Lunch to make sure we are still providing packed lunches to all children registered for Free School Meals at BPA.  These are families who have applied and had confirmation from the West Sussex Free School Meals team.

We have text all parents who are entitled to this service and the following tells parents in reeipt of this text message how they can collect their meals each day.

  • Lunches are available for collection from the school gates between 11.30am and 12.30pm each day.

  • You will be asked for your name and this will be checked against the register

  • All packed lunches are vegetarian

  • Children with special dietary requirements have a named meal set aside for them

How to collect your meals safely:

  • Please make sure you wash your hands before you leave home to collect your meal

  • Keep distance of at least 2 metres if a queue has started to form

  • If you are self isolating, please ask a neighbour/ friend to come and collect the meal for you

  • Please make sure you wash your hands when you return home, before you eat your meal

In order to avoid waste, Easy Lunch are monitoring the number of lunches actually collected each day.  If you do not want Easy Lunch to cater for you, please let the school know via email on

At 12.30pm, any lunches that have not been collected, will be handed out to anyone not on the list but in need of food. (This action is subject to change according to school need)

Thank you to all families for making sure we can feed our children and to help us avoid waste.
